Beach Day Lineart

So I'm making a color pic for the Temeraire fanart contest (...despite warnings that the final book might be in black and white?) This is the compiled drawing, with pretty much each one of the figures from a different page in my sketchbook. I just blocked out where the ocean, sand and sky would be for my own reference...the perspective is probably a bit wonky, but that's what I get for drawing everything weeks apart on different pages! This is a beach day (as the title suggests) with Temeraire, Maximus and Lily frolicking in the background and their respective captains on the beach. I didn't think Iskierka would like the water very much, so I had her sit on the beach sulking with Granby I'm considering putting Tharkay in here somewhere...but I don't know where he would fit ;3; just pretend he's wandering around the beach? I really, really, really want to read a short fic about these guys going to the beach for a break - goodness knows they need it!
